What the meanings of different flowers? We cannot tell you how often we get asked this question when it comes to roses. Each gift of flowers should be meaningful shouldn't it? Our floral design experts are here  to make sure that each and every arrangement is special. Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  At Pam's Posies in Dover we wanted to give you a little bit of ammunition for your thoughtful gift. When they know WHY you picked a specific color rose, it will make the gift even more meaningful.

Breakdown of what each rose color signifies....

  • Red = Love
  • White = Purity, Innocence, Silence, Secrecy
  • Dark Pink = Appreciation and Gratitude
  • Light Pink = Admiration, Sympathy, Grace, Joy and Sweetness
  • Yellow = Joy, Delight, Friendship, Welcome Back, and New Beginings
  • Orange = Fascination, Desire and Enthusiasm
  • Peach = Appreciation, Closing the Deal, Get Together
